1. What is the method of identifying fabric silk?
There are a couple of methods on the identification of silk fabrics. In fact, the simplest and most practical is to burn it with a lighter. Fabric silk is generally divided into warp and weft threads. When burning, a warp thread is drawn first and it smells like a burnt hair. When it is burned, the fiber will shrink into a dark gray ball, and then it will become powder when it is rubbed with your fingers. Then burn the weft, if the warp and weft both smell like burnt hair and the balls become powder after burning, then the fabric on your hand is 100% fabric silk.
