Unlike printed silk fabric in which designs are printed onto surface of fabric, the designs of silk jacquard fabric are woven into fabrics. And the weave just creates some kind of “shadow” effects. The composition of silk jacquard is 100% silk. It is soft and can also hold shape well with a very nice drape.
Silk jacquard is distinguished by its unique designs woven into it. Such designs usually cover floral, paisley or geometric patterns. And clients prefer us to custom weave this fabric using their own designs. Luxury companies apply silk jacquard fabric woven in their company logo as the lining for fur coats, wallets and briefcases.
