We recently encountered a case of doubts about authentic silk fabrics caused by static electricity issues on our fabrics. Below are the details of emails between our client and sales.
Good morning,
I have a question about black silk satin fabric, why does it makes elektric feeling, like syntetic fabrics? If it is the same as other mulberry silk that i ordered, but it feels different, maybe you made a mistake and sent me something else?
Please, see video, where you can see the difference, and how blak silk reacts with my hair.

Hello James,
Thanks for your email. I am sorry that you think only synthetic fabric makes electric feeling. My feedback is as below.
1. What we sell is silk fabric only; we don't manufacture or sell any polyester fabrics. You can do a simple burning testing on the fabric and it is definitely mulberry silk. No mistakes in this.
2. Friction makes static electricity. This happens to all fabrics, especially in winter and fall. But, silk acts better in this aspect due to its material and structure. You check can some synthetic fabrics too in the same conditions. They will look even worse. Your last order should be back to last summer with more humidity. That is why you didn't feel any static electricity.
3. You can put the fabrics on floor overnight or put softening during washing. These ways will fix the problem.
Sorry again for the issues caused. All fabrics were treated to remove static electricity during dyeing, but the natural phenomenon happened again after some time when the environment changes. Hope you kindly understand.
Thanks again and best regards
