Item introduction
There are two factors in the phrase “sand washed silk fabric”, one is sand wash and the other is silk fabric. Silk fabric is type of fabric spoken by its component which is different from polyester, cotton and linen etc. While sand washing is post treatment process in purpose of taking away the excessive sheen of natural silk fabric and making them much softer and finer.
Pure silk fabric can shrink after first wash, but sand washed silk fabric will not shrink again because preshrinking process is also conducted simultaneously when silk fabrics are sand washed.
Care instruction for sand washed silk fabric
We recommend gentle hand wash in cold water. Cold iron and dry fatly in the shade. Don’t wring.
