Silk fabric satin is soft, shiny and delicate and is can used for pajamas, wedding gowns and evening dresses etc. Silk fabric satin is also called crepe back satin fabric which represents there is one crepe texture on one side and one satin texture on other side. The regular weights includes 12mm, 16mm, 19mm, 22mm, 30mm and 40mm.
The only disadvantage of this fabric is that it is quite prone to wrinkles. However, heavy silk satin fabric in 22mm. 30mm and 40mm do much better in this regard thanks their weightiness.
