Silk double georgette is made up of 100% mulberry silk. It is quite delicate and surprising lightweight despite of its medium weights of 16mm and 18mm. Like silk crepe de chine, printed silk double georgette fabric has a dull finish and it is widely used for airy and flowing apparels, such as summer blouses and dresses. It also find its way in home décor. Some clients just purchase for sheer curtains.
