More information about black silk habotai fabric
As a basic weave of silk fabrics, habotai or habutai silk is traditionally woven in Japan and its name also originates from a Japanese word. However, silk habotai fabric is mostly produced in China now. This type of silk is available at us in dozens of colors, including black silk habotai fabric. It is normally used as a lining due to its special features but it can also be used for pillowcases, summer dresses, lingerie and home décor too, such as wall papers or lampshades.
Black silk habotai fabric and other colors are available in 8mm which is taken as lightweight. Like other silk fabrics, such as silk crepe de chine, silk satin charmeuse fabric or silk organza fabric, habotai silk fabric is also grouped by different weights.
